THE RED EYED FROG
The Gehko - Poem by THE RED EYED FROG
I stumbled upon a Ghehko laying on the floor,
I nearly killed him as I walked to the door,
He sat there without blinking,
And I started thinking.
Is he alive or is he dead?
As soon as these thoughts came into my head,
He wriggled and jiggled with all his might,
The little fella put up one hell of a fight,
But I was to quick,
and catched him right there.
And clinging to my fingers he decided to stare,
He looked at me,
And i looked at him,
We stared at each other till God knows when
But just as i thought to get out a pen,
He jumped out of my hand,
And I never saw him again.
