The Giant Tsunami.... Poem by RIC BASTASA

in the shallow waters
happiness lives

near the sandy shore
contentment dwells

the people are doing
what has to be done

mostly to each his own
one plants the other harvests

the clouds are blue and
the plains are green

the children laugh and
play on the hillsides

the flowers of the garden
are beautiful with the bees

the fluttering butterflies
show the lull of bliss

until the fatal tsunami came
and it erasedall what
i have written beforehand.
