The Gift Of Friends - Poem by Paula Patterson-Stevenson

I had a pleasant chat,
With a friend,
It helps to make my day,
Good vibrations send,
I feel good like a fat cat,
So for today I will enjoy and stay!
A lot better than yesterday!
It’s nice to remember friends that you miss,
Some of them you want to hug and kiss,
In life many people that your paths cross,
With different destinies, some friends are at a loss!
Friends come and go,
With life though,
So with friends cherish the moment,
So you are never without any,
Because things change so fast, and friends are sent,
Away -- to fill their destiny!
In our lives, friends are gifts,
To boost our morale and lift!
