The Girl In The Distance Poem by Sammy Sparrow

There is this girl whose name i cannot say
Who is dear to me and brighten up's my day
When we talk my heart lights up with joy
It feels good but leaves me at bay

For when i leave her side I'm no longer happy
I'm back to myself all annoyed and sappy
i have so many questions to ask her but its never the right time
and in the end i just leave her unhappy

I debate on whether to tell her how i feel
but in the end i cannot conceal
i have tried to tell her many times
but no matter how i try i cannot reveal

The days go on and i finally find the key
one day at school i go up to her and plea
i said i have a question and answer it please
for my heart can't bear it any more are you in love with me?
