The Girl With No Name Poem by Steven Sacchetti

The Girl With No Name

She blew me a kiss from across the street right before she took that fatal step.
Into the road he didn't have time to stop, I heard the screech and saw her body fly.
I rushed to her side and held her tight, All the while she just smiled.
A single tear rolled from my eye as I held her in my arms till she died.
Dressed in her fanciest dress while she lay in her casket, As I cry over the loss consoled only in the found memories we shared.
