The Girl Worth Waiting For Poem by Brian Harrington

The Girl Worth Waiting For

When you said you need time
I let you have your space
But all this time is killing me
I miss staring at your gaze

I could dream of you forever
But its just not the same
Your beautiful blues entrance me
As I softly speak your name

Hoping beyond hope
That you will come to me
Wishing without a wish
That you will hear my plea

This is what I think of
As you walk through the door
Its only now I realize
You are the girl worth waiting for
