The Global Search - Poem by Frank King

Somewhere in life we sense an inner void
No one ignores this call
The desire for fulfillment
Is common to us all
We meander through the maze of life
Seeking the solution
Trying this and trying that
Ending in confusion
'Cause life is a mirage
Its possibilities abound
Filling us with hope
Only to be let down
The search goes on, the focus changes
From earth to high above
There we find the void's cure
Our heavenly Father's love
