The Good Death Poem by Sadman Kolawole benjamin

The Good Death

Unlace the robe pain bought,
Repaste the words death brought in clover.
Release the raven life caught,
Present the gifts death brought in offer.
To life i owe no debt,
My happiness it plunderd while i slept.
Woebegone i sit in tears,
And wafture away my happy share.

Melife's dark fate,
Written on a broken slate.
The roses of my birth,
Decorated the coffin of my death.
Free from lifes cage,
A gift of a hat as deaths sage.

untoward to life i lived.
Serendipity in life i found death.
