The Gossip Poem by Lloyd Savage

The Gossip

I thought I'd tell some gossip
I thought I'd pass some news.
So I found some old men,
But they simply then refused.

Then I found me some old ladies
And I told them every line,
And now everywhere I go
And hear that news
I know that gossips mine!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The poem came to me while riding down a road. I had been visiting a Sr. center that day and was then a much younger man.
