The Great Creator - Poem by Pearline Donalds
God carved the Earth with Great precision.
Like a doting mother over an only child;
His Holy Spirit hovered o'er the earth.
He gave to it its physical birth.
Earth's darkened mass so void and lonely,
He suspended deep in space;
Then he covered it with His canopy of grace.
Like a giant top, He spun the Earth
It spins in swift rotation.
He made the mold to fit the stars
And he designed the planets.
Then hung them perfectly in place.
He breathed into the soul of man
And gave to him his master plan
To live, to love, to procreate, to occupy the land.
