The Groom Poem by Nancy Crossman

The Groom

Like a princess in a fairytale,
A vision in satin and lace,
She stands before him
Teardrops glistening like diamonds
On perfect ivory skin!
He silently thanks the universe
As he promises her the moon and stars
Along with his heart - hers to keep!
In good times he vows to love her
With every fibre of his being!
In bad times he vows to love her more.
Lost in her eyes, the moment is timeless
And as his heart speaks to her
Blissful unspoken promises are made
As the groom kisses his bride!
