The Habits Of Solitude Poem by Allan Thorne

The Habits Of Solitude

Take a nap everyday.
Do laundry often or not at all.
Shave at least once every couple of days.
Don't let the dishes sit for more than a week.

Let your TV set the rhythm of
The meaningless rituals,
That fill the time,
That fill the silence.

Gut-rendered picture of solitude. Honestly succinct. Deserves my ten Allan. Greetings from Fay Slimm. Cornwall U.K.
