The Hand Of God Poem by Antonia Nasi

The Hand Of God

Rating: 5.0

The hand of our God rests warm on my shoulder,
Tightening His grasp...always my Soldier

A life filled with sin, I've lived all these years,
His love's unsurpassed...He weeps for my tears

Attempts made for grace, to shine on His path,
Deserving I'm not
Deserving His wrath

The child within, untainted and pure
Still lingers inside... of this He is sure

In disquieted slumber, in chaos I find,
Him cradling me close
And soothing my mind

Unconditionally loved
His hope fills my heart
His life He gave up...
So mine I can start

A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and penned with spiritual insight. A Devotional poem acknowledging the Ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for the Salvation of man and His Divine love for Humanity. A beautiful piece indeed. Thanks for sharing and do remain blessed.
