The Hanging Rope Poem by The Marrow

The Hanging Rope

The rope hangs on. only a second away.
if pulled by a body itll begin to sway.
hanging there so alluring and free.
i look through the noose to see a reflection of me.
the rope hangs balanced. centered and alone.
one quick touch and that balance will be thrown.
the noose is symbolic. an image of sorrow.
so look through the noose. death will soon follow.
