The Hard Life Poem by Kay LA Hali

The Hard Life

Life is a word with no redemption.
It feeds off your unknowing temptation.
Breaking down your one defender
Baring you empty with no lenders of safety

Life is a line leading you towards a end.
It was never your friend
A million people propelling you forward
A million loose cannons that need a ward.

Life is just the way we see the world.
Just a passing of time for the bored.
A lense into the 'After'
Just wistfully waiting till life strikes you down ending in a show of neucular reactors
