The Harmony Of Stars And Storms Poem by Robert Smith

The Harmony Of Stars And Storms

Cosmic Winds, Terrestrial Rains

From ancient heights where stars are born,
The Earth is shaped by skies adorned.
The cosmic dance, the solar fire,
Ignites the winds and fuels desire.

The sun's bright gaze, its endless flare,
Breathes life and heat into the air.
Through shifting orbits, tilted spins,
The weather stirs, the storm begins.

The moon commands the restless seas,
Its pull felt in the ocean's pleas.
With tides that rise and clouds that form,
It whispers softly of the storm.

The distant planets, faint but sure,
Add their touch to Earth's allure.
Their gravity, a silent thread,
Weaves patterns where the winds are spread.

Astronomy, the shepherd's guide,
Knows where the cosmic currents bide.
Meteorology takes its hand,
To chart the changes on the land.

Together they reveal the scheme,
Where stars and storms share one great dream.
A fragile Earth, by heavens bound,
It's weather tuned to the cosmic sound.
