The Heart Poem by christioan cheek

The Heart

Rating: 5.0

My heart will be sealed with sorrow,
till i see you on the morrow.
but i'll be gone forever,
forever till tomorrow.

But when you leave i'm filled with dread,
and thoughts of evil dance in my head.
till you finally lay here,
next to me in my bed.

but here you stay,
and i'm happy to say.
i love you,
please don't go away.

ill buy you a ring,
the most fanciest thing.
to make you happy,
and to me you will cling.

for when you are not by,
i let out a sad sigh.
and then i ask myself,
WHY.

then the thought comes,
to the beating of the drums.
while i'm sitting down,
twisting my thumbs.

i did something wrong,
then i think a sad song.
then i look in my heart,
you were there all along.
