The Heart Bandit Poem by Joshua Romero Ayson

The Heart Bandit

Rating: 5.0

The Desert and Hills Cannot Stop Him
He'll Travel Anywhere at Light and Dim
Riding on His Horse, Storming Every County
In Every Town His Head has a Bounty

On His Belt was a Gun for Shooting
Shooting Hearts that Found no Loving
His lasso takes Hearts away from Each Other
Leaving them Broken and Alone Forever

Without warning He'll Come soon
At the Start of the Day or at High Noon
He Takes Hearts that are Broken and Astray
Don't Try to Hide, He'll Always Find a Way

If you Hear a Neigh of a Horse Nearby
Fix The Mistakes and Don't Ask Why
If your Heart is Lonely, He'll come find it
Coming From the West is the Mad Heart Bandit
