The Hem Of His Garment Poem by Louise Myers

The Hem Of His Garment

Reports of healing traveled far
To every city and town,
Crowds came from everywhere
Gathering all around,

A woman pushed along the people
Until able to get through,
A touch from the Master's hand
Is what she sought to go,

If only I can touch His garment
Everything will be fine,
If only I can touch His garment
Healing will be mine,

As her hand did touch the hem,
A powerful surge she received,
She knew the healing was hers
Just as she did believe,

Jesus knew someone touched Him
And looked around to see,
There she was looking at Him,
He said, 'Thy faith has healed thee, '

We can do the same as this woman
All we need is to believe,
Reach out in faith, touch the hem
And like the woman receive.
