I was bewildered
When I heard of her downfall
Thought of her heroic deeds
Despite her willingness to succeed
But all to no avail
How did she befall the victims?
Baffled this restless mind
Why did she forsake
The trust in her
And embraced discouragement?
Cultural believe it was
Deadly disease killed her ambition
Believed in her ancestral curse
Forgotten life goes on
Refused to move on
As her destiny decided.

Allowing cultural belief to tamper with your ambition is an error. Beautiful write up...10
