I drowned
Like thousands who sought Brahma, Christ
Only to be entangled in weeds
Waiting for death, blindfolded, like you
Then he came - four hooves, a neigh
Fire and froth oozing from his wide mouth
He never asked where to go
He was so sure, but I was not
Still, I rode, nicely garbed
All these years, and will ride on
The dark prince of fear and wild
Gathering roses from the sidelines
For I know what matters most
Is the ride, and how I ride
