Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty suddenly falls
Humpty Dumpty cried and cried
but nobody can put his shells back
Humpty Dumpty was glued together,
but Humpty Dumpty was still sad.
Even though he was whole again,
his cracks showed an awful memory.
I am and was and will be
Humpty Dumpty who sat on a wall,
and later on, had a loud fall.
I am and was and will be,
Humpty Dumpty who sat on a wall,
who's cracks are scars to me.
Humpty Dumpty might be whole again,
just like me, who came from a fall.
But even if I'm whole,
there will always be,
the painful memories
of my aching fall.
