The Hurting Poem by Belinda Richmond

People of today are HURTING,
This is an ISSUE that is very CONCERNING,
It SHOWS in their DEMEANOR,
IT'S DISCERNING,
A HELPING HAND is what
they are YEARNING.

A SHOULDER to LEAN ON,
to WEEP and to CRY,
FOR SOMEONE to CARE and
to be by THEIR SIDE.

To VENT, DECOMPRESS, and
for YOU to LEND AN EAR.
To LET GO of FRUSTRATIONS and
also their FEARS.

HOLDING ON TO GRUDGES
FROM SO MANY YEARS,

The HURTING, the PAIN,
the LOSSES and the GAINS,
THE HEALING IS A PROCESS, but
The SUFFERING, IT REMAINS! ! !

ASK GOD FOR HIS GUIDANCE,
HE WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY,
THE PEOPLE ARE HURTING,
GIVES US COMFORT, THIS I PRAY! ! !
