I pierce with my eyes the human mind
Elite, lowly, mighty and of every kind
Deep in it I find fault
In what most believe is their intelligence vault
I sieve with my ears the verbal froth
Yeah, the stinking twaddles of their brain broth
The colourful and positive self-assessment
That bubbles from their lips with utter amazement
My nose sniffs the scent they wear
Concealing the rot of their innerwear
In protest I frown with honest contempt
My heart queries “why put such an attempt? ”
With my inner eyes I take a chance to view me
Who hardly I take time to see
Oh my! the egoistic him and her
Seems to be with me at par!
To be stolen from a thief really hates
To preach to others is how far a preacher gets
May my mind learn to self-critique
And save me from the ways so antique.
