The Inconvenient Couple Poem by Natasha Bishop

The Inconvenient Couple

I see you, but you don't see me
I'm quiet, cause i'm so scared you'll say no or that you won't
I want to show you all I've got
But I know I'll have to beg and pray, only for you to say hey

For you to say no, would break my heart, cause then we would always be apart
So what shall I do, It's not like you can hear my desperate thoughts, or can you

I'm so scared to do something wrong, cause when near you I feel bear
When you look at others, my thoughts take over, do you already have a lover

For you to say no, would break my heart, cause then we would always be apart
So what shall I do, It's not like you can hear my desperate thoughts, or can you

You are so much more beautiful then me, thats why I feel so inevitably assumable
At daytime you are all I can think about, at night your the one I dream about
But you keep forgetting, me

You probably think I'm pathetic, thats totally ethic but you are magnetic

For you to say no, would break my heart, cause then we would always be apart
So what shall I do, It's not like you can hear my desperate thoughts, or can you

All I wish Is to one day get to call us a couple
You and me being able to snuggle.
