The Inevitable Manifested Suddenly Poem by Leonard Gorski

The Inevitable Manifested Suddenly

The bird, surprised by the larger circles, staggered across the sky.
The forest stood in a silence it had never experienced before.
The river flowed slowly, flushing meanderers in the wicker shore.
And the reed, so sensitive to the wind, slept, standing still.

People were busy with everyday rites,
Filling empty shells with hours of life, simply, on a daily basis,
Fulfilling what the quiet voice urged them to
And it reminds you of the Unexpected,
Which can manifest suddenly... like
Inevitable.

Inevitable -
It reveals itself suddenly,
