The Inner Neighbour Poem by Subrata Ray

The Inner Neighbour

The Nearest Neighbor
The Nearest Neighbor.
There lives a neighbor
A step away from my home,
Often He passes singing by,
In silent melody firing my inner Om.
Distant call His voice assures,
Though He lives nearest to my home.

A mendicant vagabond by nature is He,
In his pathway He sows the seed of Love
To those who offer land to have the fruit of self-tree.

His advent evokes music,
In the inward ears of His chosen listeners,
And His face if by grace flashes to any one,
The joy beyond seven -seas, at once to him comes.
