The Institution Of Toast Poem by Bill Grace

The Institution Of Toast

Rating: 5.0

The institution of toast
Is not well understood
It being a common thing
In a world obsessed with novelty.
Like the divine we would do well to make
The periphery of its acquaintance
When properly tamed by toaster
A pleasant thing for dog and man alike
A bread worthy of its begging.

Delightfully peculiar. I really like it. Don
