The Invisible Alchemy Poem by indira babbellapati

The Invisible Alchemy

(a re-post)

the exasperated
eagerness of creation
expels itself
month after month

finally fructified
within the silent layers
of the ever volatile womb
its pulsation only palpable
to a tender touch
its voice discernable
only by the ear within ear

the soil incessantly strives
to balance the moisture
and sustain…

a sight to see
as the plantling bears
the first leaf and later
spread its childlike branches

come
have a look
the flower and fruit
it now bears beginning
yet another cycle…

how wonderful this
magic alchemy of
this invisible seed
that silently houses
a mighty tree
a comforting shade

Enjoy reading this poem. As I try to follow the 'eagerness of creation' my mind goes to the 'invisible alchemy' of the coconut. Thanx for sharing. Blessings. Leonard
