The Jeopardy Poem by Ramdas Surianarayanan

The Jeopardy

The night conquered the day,
Day conquered the lives
A never ending battle
That brings the glory, the pain,
The light, the darkness
I stood like a child,
Lost in a crowd
Jeopardised by the stampede,
The massacre and the struggle
The struggle to sail through the day,
Before the night overwhelms the day
