The Journey Of A Musāfir Poem by Abel Sadji A8S

The Journey Of A Musāfir

I've walked each road, I've seen each sky,
From riverside to mountains high.
I've whispered to the winds and talked to the trees,
Yet in my heart, I still seek to find my peace.

Every village I've passed, every town I've known,
Still, the feeling lingers — I'm far from my home.
I search for a meaning, a purpose unknown,
In every new place, in every new zone.

The people I meet, the places I stay,
They offer me wisdom, but I'm led astray.
I thought the journey would show me the way,
But now I wonder, 'Should I end the day? '

'Ala kulli hal' — in every state,
I ask myself, "Is this my fate? "
Should I return to where I belong,
Or keep moving, though the road feels long?

The horizon calls, the world is wide,
But something pulls me back inside.
Is my purpose in wandering, or in the place I was born?
Is my soul's peace found in the world, or the home I've mourned?
