It's the kids who will save us
When all is well
In layered pain
Screams out, we scream, in our distress
Another cry out
This lair of social distancing
Though silent words remain
The kids must save us
Plain as day
Always a blessing
Never, never in the way
Ever
The sound of a child's laughter
As insanity looks
On either side
Threatening
Our cries fall, not in vain
Save US!
But why? , ..God? , ..Why?
A sign of comfort
Ever so small
Little arms
Hands of compassion
Compassionate love
Extending
As our life support
Is our destiny in the saving grace of a child's touch?
In the midst you wonder, how? ,
How this child could reach your cloud?
How can kid's hands curve,
To Save US?
Should not I switch him/her places?
A child? A kid? Who helps, willingly, will save US?
Comfort comes to all those in need
Comforter come, Holy Spirit, believe
Comfort comes from those who have been comforted
Small hands reach beyond our grief
God shines his light on our tear-filled needs
Comfort comes to those heavy-hearted..those on their knees
You child will save US
You child have saved me.
Comforter come
Holy Spirit
I believe!
