The Ladder Of Life - Poem by Florence M. Jones
The builder building a building
Seeks support from his ladder.
The ladder doesn't dangle in mid-air.
It needs a system of support.
The support is as important to the
Ladder as the ladder is to the builder.
The climber in life seeks support.
That support is as the ladder is to
The builder building a building.
Yes, the climber in life
Frantically seeks support.
Finding it, he succeeds.
With no support, the discouraged
Climber falls or recedes.
His story could have had a happy ending
If he had found a supporter to
Help him climb the ladder of life.
So, I'll gladly help someone...
Somewhere climb the ladder of life.
May a climber or two depend on you?
