The Last Day Poem by Kyleia Parks

The Last Day

The last day
Waking up as usual
Getting dressed to slilence
Alarm clock ringing having it set to timeless.

Runing on down the street,
flowers geting stuck in my feet
Catching the bus bright and yellow,
although I'm feeling tired and mellow.

I look up at the bus driver saying Hello!
A smile breif across her face,
knowing that this is going to be an unforgetful day.

Splashes of smiles come across my face,
seeing my love walking this way,
tired and exhausted he seems to be;
but deep inside he's the one for me!

The bell rings time for class day by day how long will this last?
I love you is what we both exchanged,
finally 6th period I can feel the pain.

A test?
way to start class I'm very nervous,
I hope I pass
waiting for the time to stop
looking at the painful clock.

I look behind me out the window
a cool breeze I began to tremble
tears start to feel my face
knowing that this was.....
