The Last Kiss Poem by yarnell wilson

The Last Kiss

I remember her like it was yesterday.
She loved me and I loved her back.
I cannot get the story straight because I did not know her that well.
What I did know was that she was my mother and I loved her.
I was young when the monster made her sick [AIDS].
I was too young to understand. I remember watching her sneeze so much, looking as
She cough her heart out.i remember seeing these werid needle like things next to where she lay and a powder substance next to the needles.yea so my mom was a drug addict and she was sick with HIV When I was 5. I rember being taken away because she no longer could take care of us.the last time I saw her I was eight years old..i looked at her because I flashed back to when I was 5.she was even sicker.now she had full blown AIDS.
I knew she wasn’t going to make it. I gently kissed her forhead and she smiled before the she was gone. The last kiss.
