As I lay here, my time
drawing near.
I look back on a life full of
Joy and fear.
I've loved and lost
I've laughed and cried
I've lived my truth.
I've seen the beauty of this world
I've felt the pain, My heart unflured.
But now as I face my final breath
I know that life is a dance with death.
I welcome the darkness, 'The Unknown'
For I believe my spirit will be shown,
In the stars that twinkle bright above
In the Whispers of the one I love.
So, As I close my eyes and drift away
I trust that I'll find peace.
In the beauty of the universe, so vast
In the memories that will always last.
Goodbye my friends, my family dear
I'll watch over you, do not fear
For in the end, we'll meet again
In a world beyond this earth pain.
'I quit'.
The last lines;
'Miss me a little more
But not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me but let me go'.
