The Last Prayer Poem by Pradip Saikia

The Last Prayer

Please touch me only once
My dear
Let me relive

From rocks to impenetrable woody darkness
From fast asleep melancholic hell
Please touch only once my sleepiness

Who is a captive in the rocky fortress
Entire dream future endless sun

Sentry
Open the door
Let me come to life again from the rocky core
From the ancient silence of the nether

I am a dreamy sun-seeker
Ambitious forest-vagrant

Become corporeal
From the soulful well of nectar
From the flute

Be illuminated only once
From nothingness

illumination like birth- controlling it through quantitative allowances of touch- only once
