The Last True Valentine Poem by Rick Elpers

The Last True Valentine

Searching from an empty
heart toward a full love,
that through hope in a time of letting go,
 the goal of you
slipped into me without any limit.
Watching your smile light up the world within me,
everyday growing new love
unknown in my life before you.
These days evolve us to each life we
hold dear
to ourselves and to each other.
My love you have injured my lonesome soul,
only to remove the shell and expose
the yearning to join another heart
 becoming intertwined physically and spiritually.
You are the Love for so long
I've  desired to live,
as we breathe together
the same air, the same love,
till the earth is no more,
will we always have our souls
for one another to play and enjoy.
MY LOVE, HAPPINESS ON THIS
DAY OF VALENTINE<3<3<3oxo
