The Law Of Karma Poem by Anbudan Miththiran

The Law Of Karma

Rating: 4.5

If you humiliate someone
And think it is a just reward
You will face the same fate
As the law of karma is restored

If you hurt another's feelings
And think it is a harmless joke
You will suffer the same pain
As the law of karma will evoke

If you lie to someone's face
And think it is a clever move
You will be deceived by others
As the law of karma will prove

If you respect someone's dignity
And think it is a noble deed
You will receive the same honor
As the law of karma will concede

If you love another's soul
And think it is a divine gift
You will be loved by many
As the law of karma will uplift

The law of karma applies to all
No matter who you are or what you do
So be mindful of your actions
As the law of karma will follow you

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The concept of karma is deeply rooted in many belief systems and philosophies. It suggests that our actions have consequences, and the energy we put into the world comes back to us in some form. This poem beautifully illustrates the principle that our actions and intentions can shape our future experiences. Being mindful of our actions is indeed an important aspect of living in harmony with the law of karma.
