The Leaf Poem by Murderdolls Fan

The Leaf

A leaf
On a tree

One day
He'll fall to
Me

I'll
Sit and stay,

Watching
Everyday

And when he
Falls,
I'll catch him

The leaf
Is a light
In my world
Of grim

I gaze
Through my window
Silently

And everyday
he stays away,
It bludgeons me
Violently

Until
He falls off of
The tree,

Still lifted
Away from me

Onto the grass,
He's mine at last

But the wind
Growls in my ears,
Confirming

All my
Worst of
Fears

And before I look,
He's disappeared

Leaving me wounded,
Severe

Gone, he's been
Taken away

As once he's
Caught,

He never,
Ever
Stays
