The learned white man approached
the young brave
with determination and assurance in his cause.
'Young Savage.' he said
'You are a brave and mighty warrior
but unlearned and backwards in thought.
I will show you the way of the white man.
Intelligent and civil.'
'Ayiyiyiyay.' hollered the young brave,
his tribes bravest,
before burying his tomahawk
in the learned white man's brow.
