The Letter (I) Poem by Jacqui Thewless

The Letter (I)

Rating: 5.0

I came in peace
waving a flag, a white sheet
lined with blue,
looped ink folded
and delivered by hand.
Read my lips: an enveloped
dumb imprint:
a kiss.
