The Liar, The Thief, And I. (Formerly Named Sweet Lies) Poem by Syl Lycaenion

The Liar, The Thief, And I. (Formerly Named Sweet Lies)

You held me in the dark as I cried
You wiped away my tears and told me all would be well
Then you took me in your life and I was changed
I'll never be the same without you
You spoke such beautiful lies to me
They rolled of your tongue like the sweetest dew of leaves
I believed every word you said
Never knowing they werent meant for me
You took me in and changed me
But you couldnt make me her
You pretended I was someone else
Who left you long ago
She never wrote you letters
She never called your phone
Then one day she came back
And you left me here...alone.
