The Light And Darkness Of The Soul Poem by Kei Williams

The Light And Darkness Of The Soul

Light so bright in the morning
Full of warm innocence
Flowers blooming in the sun
Revealing their true essence

Locked in a world of no escape
Bound by fate of death
Waiting for the time to come
Until I breathe my last breath

But there is still hope for life,
A life far more better,
A life where there are
No more dreams only reality

Day by day the darkness fades
Awakening my souls rhythm
The sundial turns to the shadow
showing the darkness within my soul

Half light half darkness
No way to rid the dark
Nothing can save thy soul, but
The powerful light of the holy spirit

On verge of corruption
The light will eliminate the darkness
And I shall be free from the sin
The sin which consumes my soul
