The Light Of The Light Poem by Mystic Qalandar

The Light Of The Light

O heart, in the hidden chamber of the Secret Word,
Where the veils are thinner than a sigh,
The Breath of the Eternal descends like dawn—
A whisper that awakens the dust to wonder.

In the blessed hush of Night's true night,
Where the Tablet of Creation lies open,
The Absolute Mystery pours its silent command,
And a new birth stirs in the cradle of being.

Each ray that falls from Wisdom's lamp,
Each breath exhaled from the unseen world,
Settles upon the polished mirror of the soul.
There, peace hums softly—
Like a mother singing stars to sleep.

In the Book that angels read without ink,
There lies a silence brighter than a thousand suns;
No word may cast a shadow upon it,
No hour may leave its fleeting trace—
For only the soundless Call abides,
The Call that makes the soul remember its home.

One by one the locks of doubt fall open
In the valley where silence speaks.
Mercy flows like a gentle light
Down the river that has no source but Him.

At the meeting-place of Earth and Sky,
His Oneness rises like a banner of fire.
He guards the secret of Being and Not-being,
And the melody of Lā ilāha illa Hu
Echoes through every atom,
Until each pulse of existence
Beats the rhythm of His Name.

When the smoke of the self darkens the heavens,
Truth and falsehood gleam at their borders.
But when the inner dawn unfurls,
The shadows of hesitation scatter like dust,
And the hidden gates swing open toward Light.

Then the soul beholds the Face in its mirror:
One instant—
And nothing remains but Light.

Know, seeker, this smoke is no idle smoke:
It is the last veil of the wandering self.
When the heart hides in its own dark mist,
The night is of its own making—
And a man strays through his breaths
As one lost in the fog of his own longing.

Yet when the Blessed Night pours its lights,
The wounds of the soul become luminous.
Beneath the canopy of Oneness,
Every corner of being remembers its dawn.

Hear then the teaching of the smoke:
Descend into yourself and cleanse the dust.
Let no desire cloud the inner sky,
Let no thunder of passing hours disturb you;
For within the sanctum of the heart
Dawns the Eternal Light.

Thus may the Light of the Light
Stand at the threshold of your soul,
And the smoke of the self
Fade into the hush
Of the Absolute unity.
