The Lone Lake Poem by Sourav Khatua

The Lone Lake

Cost of loving you the most,
I gleaned, when you fade like a ghost
Somewhere in land of dreams,
Flowed through the brook's streams.
Tried hard to search what was mine?
Didn't get from yours till time defined
I desired you, eternity with me
When you sipped my feelings like tea
You came to me then you go
It's just your damn satisfaction you showed
I was trusting you as whole
But you didn't mind to hurt my soul
But I managed to find you
Under the green, over the blue
Though I had seen dreams with you
But now I haven't you to live it through.
