The Lonely One Poem by Saqib Rafique

The Lonely One

Rating: 5.0

The one for whom nobody is waiting
Shouldn't walk alone in a corridor
Before it deserted

The one for whom nobody is waiting
Shouldn't ask the price of a bouquet
Or the day, date or time

The one for whom nobody is waiting
Shouldn't separate a bloodied foot
From a whole journey

Sober and poignant. This is my impression about this emotionally charged poem with its heart touching expression. Thanks. My favourite poem now.
