The Lonely Soul Poem by DearWild Bett Ugiri

The Lonely Soul

So quite and peaceful was my dwelling place
Where anyone in the world could find solace
Though complete i felt and as i thought
And peace of mind in my dwelling place i sought
So clear it became
As it could never be the same
For i was lonely
So quite and peaceful was my heart
As thoughts were in the purest part
Well i felt and as i thought
And a breath of satisfaction i caught
Clear enough it became
As it could never have been the same
For i was lonely
Indeed, lonely i felt
And the mood within me i kept
For friends are faraway
And to no one was a word to say
Weary and sad i laid
While in my heart i prayed
And in thoughts i went deep
I thought really i needed a friend
I thought and thought and soon i fell asleep.
