The Loophole Poem by Keegan Cooke

The Loophole

Life is cruel so get used to it
Life is hard, but don't fall apart
Life is not fair, but no one cares
Life is full of lessons for ignorant adolescents

Life is filled with pain, and little to no gain
Life throws me curves, but I won't lose my nerves
I have discovered that life is a game
Not a simple plan, but an erratic train

Flying down the track like a runaway plane
You can search your whole life for the reasons
But lifes a puzzle without all the pieces
Life has a twisted plot without a happy ending

I used to be afraid of what I am becoming
But I can't stop it, and I'm not trying
I've found a loophole in this sick design
It's a simple feeling, and it's all mine

It has no price, it's not worth a dime
But It's the hardest thing in the world to find
It's impossible to keep it confined
It's an amazing feeling, worthy of it's required time

I've tried and it's indescribable, it must be felt inside
No matter how many times I've tried
No matter whats happened, it's never died
It's a rollercoaster, an incredible ride

It's the most amazing feeling, and it's called love
