oh the love of God
great a far it is
it goes deep in the sea
high into the heavens
as wide as an ocean
as long as a road
yet never in despair
asked faithfully of me
do you need me

casting all my burdens
unto my father in heaven
i do to acquire you
going in neither haste nor fear
i will do hoping for you
because you are all i need
all glorious all magnifiscent
all beautiful all sufficient
please come to me every morning

i will despair never
because you whisper hope
i will treasure you all my life
because you comfort me
i will sing of you
because of your goodness
i will yearn for you
because you never fail me
